Our daily commitment is to turn scientific knowledge into tangible solutions, anticipating changing market needs, new climate challenges, and stringent environmental standards.
Our Laboratories
During 2025, we completed the construction of our laboratories dedicated to Research and Development activities.
The laboratories include:
- Rooms dedicated to powder grinding, inside which there is a small pilot plant that simulates the granulator and allows a first evaluation of the mixtures that will constitute the granular products
- Preparation Room, in which the preparation of samples intended for analysis (both solid and liquid) takes place
- Instrumentation Room, where the actual analysis of the products takes place through the specific instruments (Kjeldahl distiller, HPLC, IC, ICP, atomic absorption, FT-IR, UV-Visible spectrometer, CNS elemental analyzer)
- R&D department: here the formulas for liquid products are developed, which include the DLS tool that allows us to analyze the dimensions of the nanoparticles that make up some of our products (FCP patent on the production of nanofertilizers)
- Microbiology, in which basic activities such as the counting of microorganisms are carried out (control of the number present in the products)
- Agronomy: here, fertilizers are tested directly on plants. There is a growth chamber, which allows for a controlled environment (temperature, light, humidity) in which tests are carried out to exclude the variability given by the campaign and evaluate the direct effectiveness of the products.
OUR COLLABORATIONS
FCP Cerea actively collaborates with qualified testing centers to test and validate the efficacy of its products, thus ensuring high standards of quality and reliability.
Furthermore, the company is engaged in research projects with the University of Verona, Padua and Bologna with the aim of developing innovative and sustainable solutions for tomorrow's agriculture.
